Terry Mentor Program
This project of the Terry Young Alumni Board and the Terry College Office of Undergraduate Student Services and Corporate Relations connects current Terry undergraduate students with Terry alumni. The program gives current students a “real world” contact to begin their own networks. Through mentoring, students will gain knowledge, skills and insights that will enhance their experience as students and alumni of the Terry College of Business.
The mentor program runs for the academic year (August–May). Assignments are made based on the questionnaires answered by students and alumni and based on the preferences indicated by the students. At the end of the program, mentors and mentees will be asked to evaluate the program and provide feedback. Mentors and mentees may choose to continue an informal relationship following the formal period if both parties agree.
The next round of mentor matching will be Fall 2012. Interested students may complete the student questionnaire by September 12, 2012 to be involved in the program in the next period.
