Financial Aid
Several sources of financial aid are available to PhD students. With the exception of fellowships, the following sources of aid carry an automatic waiver of the majority of quarterly tuition fees. Applications should be received by February 1 of each year to be eligible for the maximum amount of assistance.
University-Wide Research Assistantships
Awarded on a competitive basis, these assistantships support student research activities. The stipend is awarded once an academic year.
Biscoe Fellowships
The Terry College of Business offers a tax-free stipend to two incoming PhD students each year. The amount fluctuates and is awarded on a competitive basis requiring the recipient to be engaged in research activities.
PhD Research Grants
Awarded yearly by the Terry College of Business to selected PhD students, these grants are paid for the semester of the student's choosing.
Comer Fellowship
Each year, the Terry College of Business offers promising students tax-free fellowships for a three year period.
Departmental Scholarships
The Department has funds available to supplement the above assistance for especially meritorious Real Estate students.
