Vitae
  • Henry J. Munneke (Ph.D., University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) is an Professor of Real Estate. His research focus is in the area of urban land economics with a particular interest in the determinants of urban land values, land use controls, and the redevelopment of urban areas. He has also authored several studies that examine the issue of sample selection bias associated with real estate price indices. He has been published in several journals including the Journal of Urban Economics, Real Estate Economics, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics and others. Dr. Munneke attended the May 1999 session of the Weimer School as a Post-Doctoral Award recipient. He currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics. He is also an active participant in the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA).
