Richard W. Martin (Ph.D., University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) is an Associate Professor of Real Estate. His research and teaching specialties are in the area of real estate development with a special emphasis on the impact of public policy on local economic development. He has studied the impact of housing discrimination and employment suburbanization on urban labor markets. Dr. Martin has been published in Regional Science and Urban Economics and in the Journal of Housing Economics.
