Chris Welton (BBA 1981, JD 1985) is the chief executive officer of Helios Partners Inc., a global sports marketing firm with offices in Atlanta, London, Beijing and Moscow. Helios specializes in the representation of cities bidding for sport events, corporate sponsorship consultation, sport property consultation and sport property brand assessment.

Welton is the former president and CEO of Meridian Management, the marketing representative of the International Olympic Committee and the exclusive manager of the IOC's worldwide sponsorship program. Meridian was responsible for the sale, negotiation, servicing and support of IOC sponsors and for creating and implementing the IOC's strategic marketing plan.
