Application Deadline

Application materials should be completed by the end of December if applicants desire to be considered for all forms of financial assistance. The Graduate School Assistantship competition begins at the end of February and only students who are fully admitted to the department and the Graduate School can be considered. Departmental assistantships are awarded beginning in March. The last day for submitting an application to the UGA-Graduate School for domestic students is July 1st; the last day for submitting an application to the UGA-Graduate School for international students is April 15th.

After receiving all required application materials, your application will be forwarded to the faculty of the department of your intended degree for evaluation and recommendation regarding your acceptance to the program. The UGA Graduate School will notify you of the admission decision. Failure to submit a complete application will delay the application process.
