Welcome to the PhD Program

I would like to congratulate you on your admission to the program and inform you of several required graduate student orientations. The 2008 Graduate School's orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 14 at the Athens Classic Center's Grand Hall, 300 N Thomas Street, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. The 2008 Terry College's orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 14 in 327 Brooks Hall beginning at 2:30 pm and should end by 3:30 pm. Information regarding the Graduate School-sponsored events is provided by the UGA Graduate School.

In addition to the orientations and events noted above, the Terry College provides you with the following online orientation. This online orientation has been developed to provide you with key information about the Terry graduate program. It is important that you complete each step in the orientation process, as you are responsible for understanding the content provided.

The Graduate Coordinator Page is the main web resource for your program. If information is not accessible from the Graduate Coordinator Page or the Terry PhD web page, please check with your area's graduate coordinator for a hard copy source of your areas PhD information.
