PhD Student Handbook

The Terry PhD Student Handbook is provided to give doctoral students information pertaining to the procedures and requirements for the Doctoral Programs administered by the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. Students are also strongly encouraged to review the section of the Graduate School Bulletin covering the PhD degree since the Graduate School of the University of Georgia establishes requirements for the PhD degree. Note that the Terry PhD Program has requirements in addition to the Graduate School requirements. Students should refer to the Graduate School Bulletin for all policy and procedural matters that are common to all PhD Programs.

The Terry College of Business will be noted as "Terry College" throughout this handbook. References to the "Graduate School" refer to the Graduate School of the University of Georgia, which oversees university policies and regulations throughout all graduate programs. The Graduate School is located on the fifth floor of the Boyd Graduate Studies Building.
