Applying to the Terry PhD Program
The Terry College Admissions Office is under the umbrella of the University's Graduate School, a central admissions office for all graduate programs at the University of Georgia. Because of this structure, students are required to submit certain information directly to the university's graduate school, while other supplemental information will be submitted directly to the Terry College. Please note that the graduate school is responsible for maintaining the online application system, collecting official GPA calculations, and determining an applicant's eligibility for graduate study at Georgia. Also note that information related to the admission requirements, financial aid, and application deadline for the Terry College can found using the links to the left.

* Note to applicants on test scores: Applicants to the PhD Business program may take either the GRE or GMAT exam. Applicants interested in applying to the Economics program are required to submit the GRE score. The ETS code number for The University of Georgia is 5813 and department code is Z95-H2-11 for the Terry College.

Notification of Acceptance
The graduate school must concur with the departmental admissions committee decision before it becomes official. An "official acceptance letter" will be mailed by the graduate school. Prior to the receipt of the graduate school's official notification, any notification of acceptance communicated by the Terry College, either verbally or written, is considered "pending graduate school approval" and is unofficial.
