What is STATA:
Stata is an environment for manipulating and analyzing data using statistical and graphical methods. Stata is an integrated package — not a collection of separate modules. You can intersperse data management, statistical, and graphical commands.

How to Acquire:
Terry College has the current UNIX version of Stata installed on the BOSS research server. If you do not have an account on BOSS, please contact the Terry Help Desk at 542-6799.

To access STATA on BOSS you need to have SSH Secure Shell client software installed on your PC. The Secure Shell program is available for download at the UGA Internet Kits Website .
