The Instructional Support Team at the Terry College OIT consists of Stephan Brown, Matt Payne and Kris Stathas.

The three work closely together to support all facets of delivery of instructional material to our customers.

Mission: To support instructional excellence at the Terry College by providing effective, innovative and time-sensitive solutions, consultations and pro-active support to the Terry educational community.

Guiding influence: The emphasis for the Instructional Support Group is a focus on research expanding our knowledge and expertise of and ultimately implementation of value-adding technologies for instruction, not just relying on and supporting current or older technologies.

Projects: In addition to our normal Blackboard and program support, we have recently been working on these projects:

Establishing a support model for the Terry College Atlanta Executive Education Center (TCAEEC) including:

desktop user support
video capture and editing
special event support
Developing a process for video capture, editing and streaming of the Terry Third Thursday events for the web
Increasing the usefulness of the IS website to include:
Web forms for submission of requests for Blackboard courses, video recording, and CD/DVD/Video duplication
Creation of “how to” video tutorials using software to capture a computing session for demonstration of a solution to a common problem to a Help Desk customer, e.g. changing your password in Blackboard. http://www.terry.uga.edu/oit/is/instructor/bb_instructor.php
