Classroom Q & A FAQ
- Q: From whom do I obtain keys to the classroom in which I will be teaching?
- A: From your department secretary. If your department secretary does not have the keys to the classroom and computer cabinet, they will contact Stan Johnson. His number is (706) 542-3497.
- Q: The classroom I'm teaching in has a key combination. Whom do I contact?
- A: Your department secretary will contact Mary Evans. The combinations are not re-keyed until the day before classes. Classrooms with combinations are Caldwell 104, 202, 205, 305, and 306.
- Q: I am not affiliated with the Terry College of Business, whom do I contact for Terry College classroom keys and combinations?
- A: Please contact OISD. The number for OISD is (706) 542-1355.
- Q: I was unable to attend the Classroom Technology Open House, but I am still interested in an orientation/training session of the classroom I'm teaching in. Whom do I contact?
- A: Please send your request to the Help Desk. Include your name, contact information, and list several available times we can schedule the training session. Because classes are held regularly during the week, sometimes scheduling an appointment can take as long as 7 business days.
- Q: I want to install software onto the classroom machines. What is the procedure?
- A: Please send your request to the Help Desk, along with the class name, room number (of class), when you will need the software installed, and contact information. We need at least two weeks to test the software with the software that is already installed on the machines. If it is licensed software, we will also need the licensing agreement.
