'Terry Tunes' lunchtime concert series features four Friday performances this spring at Herty Field

ATHENS, Ga.— "Terry Tunes," a lunchtime concert series sponsored by the Terry College of Business, opens its spring schedule on Friday, March 24, at the University of Georgia's Herty Field.

The free outdoor concerts, offered from noon to 1 pm on selected Fridays every spring and fall, feature a variety of performers from the university's School of Music.

The "Terry Tunes" performances scheduled for this spring are:

March 24 UGA Trombone Choir
March 31 UGA Salsa Band
April 7 UGA Steel Drum Band
April 14 UGA Trombone Choir

"The Terry Tunes concerts are open to anyone on campus or in the community," said Jill Walton, interim director of alumni relations at the Terry College. "Grab lunch, enjoy the green space at Herty Field and hear some terrific music."

Herty Field is located between Moore College and the law school on the university's North Campus near downtown. In the event of inclement weather, the scheduled concert will be canceled.
