ATHENS, Ga. — "Terry Tunes," a lunchtime concert series sponsored by the Terry College of Business, opens its fall schedule on Friday, September 23, at the University of Georgia's Herty Field.

The free outdoor concerts, offered from noon to 1 pm on selected Fridays every spring and fall, feature a variety of performers from the university's School of Music.

The "Terry Tunes" performances scheduled for this fall are:

September 23 UGA Steel Drum Band
September 30 UGA Trombone Choir
October 7 Jazz Ensemble
October 14 Bulldog Brass Quintet
October 21 UGA Salsa Band

"We encourage anyone on campus or in the community to find a Friday to pack a lunch and come enjoy the music at Herty Field," said Marie Garrison, director of community relations at the Terry College.

Herty Field is located between Moore College and the law school on the university's North Campus near downtown. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be canceled.
