'TERRY TUNES' LUNCHTIME CONCERT SERIES SET TO BEGIN MARCH 28 AT UGA'S HERTY FIELD
ATHENS, Ga. — "Terry Tunes," a lunchtime concert series sponsored by the Terry College of Business, opens its spring schedule on Friday, March 28, at the University of Georgia's Herty Field.
The free outdoor concerts, offered from noon to 1 pm on selected Fridays every spring and fall, feature a variety of performers from the university's School of Music.
The "Terry Tunes" performances scheduled for this spring are:
| March 28 | Bulldog Brass Quintet and UGA Percussion Ensemble |
| April 4 | UGA Trombone Choir |
| April 11 | UGA Steel Drum Band |
| April 18 | UGA Salsa Band |
| April 25 | UGA Trombone Choir |
"We encourage anyone on campus or in the community to find a Friday to pack a lunch and come enjoy the music at Herty Field," said Marie Garrison, director of alumni relations at the Terry College. "And the first concert this Friday has the added attraction of fitting so nicely with the Lusophone Fair that will be taking place at Herty Field under the direction of the Department of Romance Languages."
Herty Field is located between Moore College and the law school on the university's North Campus near downtown. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be canceled.
