ATHENS, Ga. — "Terry Tunes," a lunchtime concert series sponsored by the Terry College of Business, opens its spring schedule on Friday, March 29, at the University of Georgia's Herty Field.
The free outdoor concerts, offered from noon until 1 pm on selected Fridays every spring and fall, feature a variety of performers from the university's School of Music.
The "Terry Tunes" performances scheduled for this spring are:
| UGA Steel Drum Band | March 29 |
| UGA Trombone Choir | April 5 |
| UGA Salsa Band | April 19 |
| Kevin Hyde Trio | April 26 |
| UGA Trombone Quartet | May 3 |
"For the spring concert series, we are pleased to bring back many of the musical groups that have proven so popular in the past," said Marie Garrison, director of alumni relations at the Terry College. "We encourage anyone on campus or in the community to find a Friday to pack a lunch and come enjoy the music at Herty Field."
Herty Field is located between Moore College and the law school on the university's North Campus near downtown. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be canceled.
