TERRY THIRD THURSDAY ATLANTA SPEAKER SERIES PRESENTS EZGOV.COM CHAIRMAN AND CO-FOUNDER BRYAN MUNDY ON JUNE 15
ATHENS, Ga. — Bryan Mundy, chairman and co-founder of ezgov.com, will be the featured speaker at the next "Terry Third Thursday" program in Atlanta on June 15.
Sponsored by the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business at the UGA Alumni Club in the Atlanta Financial Center, the lecture series features prominent executives and distinguished speakers at a breakfast meeting on the third Thursday of the month.
Mundy will discuss the start-up of ezgov.com and his expectations for the future of e-commerce and the Internet. The Atlanta-based company, through its contracts with local governments, enables citizens to renew business and driver's licenses, pay parking tickets, obtain building permits, and other transactions via the Internet.
As chairman of ezgov.com, Mundy, who earned his MBA degree from the Terry College of Business in 1995, manages relationships with leading technology, media, and government organizations. On June 1, ezgov.com announced a business partnership with IBM to "provide a complete solution to governments seeking to offer electronic services to their businesses and citizens."
Mundy has played a major role in several e-commerce successes. As a technology consultant to BellSouth he delivered an online bill review and bill payment application allowing more than 15 million BellSouth customers to pay their phone bills online. He also served as operations manager for CitySearch and as chief strategist for InterArch Technologies, an electronic commerce solutions company based in Atlanta.
The "Terry Third Thursday" program begins at 7 a.m. Cost is $30, including breakfast. Reservations are required. For more information go to www.terry.uga.edu/ttt or call 706-583-0397.
