From researching the development of a new runway at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to working in forensic technology at KPMG, seven students shared their summer internship experiences through the Terry Takeover.
Here are some highlights:
Senior marketing major and Leadership Fellow Nina McCallie spent her summer in London, where she interned for the private equity firm Investcorp and witnessed the uncharted territory Brexit brought to the British financial sector.
Another marketing major, junior Clay Cribbs, helped develop web-based applications for golf tournaments as an operations intern at Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta. His work took him to Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey to monitor an app at the PGA Championship.
Through her internship in Deloitte’s tax department, senior accounting major and Leonard Scholar Deionna Jackson visited Deloitte University in Westlake, Texas, to attend the National Tax Intern Conference. Back in Atlanta, she joined her fellow Deloitte interns at a Braves game.
