Wilson is a board-elected senior vice president of The Coca-Cola Company and president of its Global McDonald's Division. As a senior executive, he is responsible for the Coca-Cola alliance, strategy, operations, and performance for over 31,000 restaurants that serve 56 million consumers daily in 118 countries with business units based in Asia, Europe, Latin America, the United States, and Canada. He reports directly to the CEO and is a member of the company's senior leadership team that establishes corporate strategy and policy.
Wilson is an engaging public speaker and co-author of the recently published book, "Managing Brand YOU. " His pragmatic system provides a step-by-step roadmap for anyone interested in leading a more successful and fulfilling life.
He is an active member of the community, serving as a board member to the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities and the McDonald's Hispanic Owner-Operators Association. He is also an advisor to Emory University's School of Medicine and will become the executive sponsor of The Coca-Cola Company Women's Forum in 2009.
Wilson earned his MBA in marketing from Mercer University and his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Georgia.
He and his wife, Ginny, live in Atlanta and their daughter, Abby, is a junior attending the University of Georgia.
