Virginia "Gina" C. Drosos was named CEO of Assurex Health, a leading personalized medicine company, in July 2014 after joining the company in 2013 as president. As president, she has been responsible for leading and expanding the company's commercial programs to drive broad awareness and adoption of GeneSight, a genetic test which helps physicians select the right medication for patients with mental health disorders and chronic pain. During her tenure, she's led the doubling of year on year volume, tripled the company's outreach to healthcare providers and rebranded GeneSight, supported by a new website, selling platform and digital marketing program.
Gina has more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in the consumer goods and personal care industries. Her illustrious career at Procter & Gamble includes most recently serving as group president for Global Beauty Care, a $6 billion global business unit with more than 6,000 employees in 120 countries including leading brands like Olay, CoverGirl, Old Spice and Secret. She has been recognized twice on Fortune's list of 50 Most Powerful Women in Business. Gina's expertise building and scaling companies and marketing to consumers, particularly to women, is helping Assurex Health bring its market-leading GeneSight technology and the possibility of mental wellness to more than 50 million patients in the U.S.
Since 2012, Gina has served on the Board of Directors of Signet Jewelers, Ltd., the world's largest specialty jewelry retailer whose key banners include Kay, Jared the Galleria of Jewelry and Zales. She has also served as a director for American Financial Group since 2013, a leading financial company engaged primarily in property and casualty insurance through the operations of Great American Insurance Group, and in the sale of traditional fixed and fixed-indexed annuities. Gina is a board member of the Terry Dean’s Advisory Council. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Terry College and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
