“Work/Life Balance. . . or is it Work/Life Juggle?”
Bonney Shuman serves as CEO of Stratix Corp., which has helped hundreds of end users, distributors and other organizations gain a competitive advantage by utilizing automatic data capture since 1983.
Shuman has worked with many industries and companies in the establishment of their bar code guidelines. She has conducted numerous seminars that focus on the benefits of bar coding and other automatic data capture technologies. She was primarily responsible for the content of A Guide to Bar Coding, which has been recognized as a leading reference manual for those interested in utilizing automatic data capture.
Shuman is a past member of the board of directors for the automatic data capture trade association known as AIM, USA. She served AIM, USA as president for a two-year term. She is a former board member of Women in Packaging and the Georgia Women's Business Council. She currently serves as a member of the Frederica Academy board of trustees and is on their executive board. She is an officer of AIDC 100 and serves on the executive board of the UGA Alumni Association.
Shuman holds a B.B.A. from the University of Georgia, with a major in Finance.
