Professor French earned a Ph.D. in Marketing from Penn State,
an M.S. in Marketing from L.S.U. and an A.B. in Philosophy from St. Anselm's
College. He is employed by the Department of Marketing and also serves
as a member of the faculty of Gerontology at The University of Georgia.
In addition, Dr. French has lectured on programs in Great Britain, Finland,
France and Venezuela. He teaches in the Master of Marketing Research,
M.B.A. and undergraduate programs at the University, concentrating on
courses in strategic marketing, research design and business ethics.
Professor French is involved in research which focuses on several areas:
marketing strategy, relationship marketing and conflict resolution. The
co-author of two books, his work has appeared in the Journal of Marketing,
European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business, Journal of Business
Ethics, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of the Market Research Society,
Journal of Advertising, and the Journal of Advertising Research, as well
as in 20 other journals.
