Professor Du received his Ph.D. degree in Marketing from the Fuqua School of
Business, Duke University, and joined Terry College of Business, University
of Georgia in 2005. His research interests are in the areas of Customer
Relationship Management, Marketing Productivity, Marketing Metrics,
Household Consumption and Portfolio, Channel and Category Management,
Interactive/Direct Marketing, and New Product Diffusion.
Professor Du has articles published in various leading academic journals,
including Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing
Science, Quantitative Marketing and Economics, Long Range Planning, and
Journal of Enterprising Culture. Professor Du is a co-winner of the 2005
Best Conference-Wide Paper Award at the 17th Annual DMEF (Direct Marketing
Educational Foundation) Educators' Conference for his manuscript "Imputing
Share of Category Requirements" and has also been awarded the 2003 Alden G.
Clayton Award at the Marketing Science Institute Dissertation Proposal
Competition.
When not at work Professor Du enjoys photography, jogging and swimming.
