Admission Requirements | MMR Application Procedures

Application Deadline

Completed applications should be submitted by February 15 for the summer (June) summer admission. There is no fall or spring admission. However, admissions are limited and competition is quite stiff. Students are encouraged to submit their applications as early as possible especially in cases where there are questions about foundation courses.

Application Material

The materials applicants need to submit are listed below. They are divided into three components based on where the material should be sent. Please note that an application is not complete until ALL material has been received.

Once we have received all your application materials, we will review them and communicate a decision to you as soon as possible. Decisions are communicated on a rolling basis and all decisions will be made by early April. You will be notified in writing and/or by email.

Component I

The following materials should be submitted to this location:
  1. An application to UGA Graduate School
  2. A non-refundable application fee submitted via credit card or e-check — the fee for domestic applicants is $75 — the fee for international applicants is $100.

The following materials should be submitted to this location:
  1. Two official transcripts from each college and university attended.(International applicants: Send two sets of official academic records and official proofs of degree.) Please note that official transcripts for transfer credits must also be supplied; transfer credit posted on the records of other institutions is unacceptable. The Registrar from your schools must seal the documents in an envelope and sign their name across the seal of the envelope. Transcripts should be sent directly to UGA Graduate School.
  2. One official copy of your GMAT or GRE scores sent by Educational Testing Service directly to UGA Graduate School. Candidates should submit either the GMAT or GRE score - not both.
  3. International Students: Please submit one official copy of your TOEFL or IELTS scores sent directly from the testing agency to UGA Graduate School. (Helpful tips for international applicants)

These materials should be submitted to Jamese Meyer:
  1. A resume
  2. A letter explaining the reasons you are interested in a career in marketing research
  3. Three letters of recommendation. When you complete the online application, you must list three recommenders and their email addresses. The Graduate School will send your recommenders the link to submit their letter of recommendation online. Your recommenders can then choose to submit their recommendation online or mail or email their letter to Jamese Meyer.
