- Meet MIS students at the Spring Awards Banquet and the Fall Recruitment Dinner
- Grant company sponsored scholarships to outstanding MIS students
- Present at the MIS student organization (SMIS) meetings
Promote the MIS field
- Learn about current MIS thinking and research
- Hear lectures by leading MIS practitioners and academics
- Collaborate on UGA MIS faculty and PhD research
