The University libraries contain more than 3,000,000 volumes and over 13,000 periodicals. The main library, adjacent to the Terry College, provides MIS students with convenient access to most reference works needed for MIS projects. This facility is augmented by a science library in the Boyd Research Center complex. Each facility has computer-based catalogs, a PC-based reference search service, and terminal access to public databases for further reference searches. Many of the library's computer-based systems can be accessed remotely via Galileo.
