Close contact with MIS practitioners is provided by the UGA-MIS Industry Advisory Board. Senior level MIS professionals and managers from over twenty companies serve on the board. Companies represented include:

Board members and their companies make curriculum recommendations, speak to classes, host on-site visits, participate in research studies, furnish resource support, and provide student employment opportunities. Each spring, there is an MIS Banquet and, at that time, students have an opportunity to meet the Board members and learn about MIS in their companies.
