MIT class of 2013 begans, program to resume annual recruiting in 2012

Fall 2011

The Master of Internet Technology class of 2013 began this fall semester with 26 students. As usual, the students come from diverse background and experience. These students have started their five semester journey to become masters at developing Internet-based business solutions. The core curriculum combines learning about core Internet technologies with the strategic analysis and project management skills to put those technologies to use. The current iteration of the program includes discussions of complementary trends of mobile/social/location and cloud computing.

The Master of Internet Technology program is on track to return to its original recruiting schedule. Starting in fall of 2012, we plan to accept a new cohort of students each year.

We can always use guests from industry with expertise in Internet related technologies to speak for our classes. We will also be soliciting sponsors for our MIT capstone projects. These two semester long projects will begin in Fall of 2012. If you are interested in becoming a project sponsor check out the information and apply online (http://mit.terry.uga.edu). Or, simply send an email to Craig Piercy. Finally, please consider our students and the strong knowledge-base they develop for your staffing needs.
