Research notes: AI and financial reporting

Janine Elyse Aronson is working on research to develop and apply artificial intelligence techniques to examine requisite financial reports from publicly traded companies. Her research involves analyzing the sentiment and other emotional content and language structures in public reports such as 10-Ks. These nonfinancial indicators can be used to predict future company stock prices accurately. Janine is an active member of The University of Georgia Artificial Intelligence Institute. On this project, she is working with a team of Institute faculty, researchers, and students.
