Dr. Carroll has a B.S. in Marketing from Mississippi State University, an MBA from the University of Kentucky, and a Ph.D. in Marketing from Indiana University. Dr. Carroll has been published in numerous Marketing journals, including the Journal of Marketing Research. Her current research includes an investigation of the relative importance of affect and cognition in the satisfaction experience and an investigation of the effects of Brand Love on Brand Loyalty and Positive Word-of-Mouth in a consumer packaged goods context.
Dr. Carroll currently is enjoying teaching Consumer Behavior and Marketing Research at the undergraduate level.
