Non-Profit Board Member Seminars

These seminars are held at the Tate Center on the UGA campus and begin at 8:30 am. These day-long programs cover the following topics:

  • Roles and responsibilities of the board of directors
  • Fundraising
  • Managing volunteers
  • Strategic planning

The program concludes at approximately 4:00 pm. Continental breakfast and lunch are served. Admission to the seminar is free; attendance is limited to four people from the same organization at the same seminar.

Online Registration

To register for one of the seminars, visit our online registration page and fill out and submit all information. You are not registered for a given date until you receive a confirmation from the Nonprofit Office.

For more information, please contact the Nonprofit Office by email or 706-542-3750. Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation, as well as parking and room location information. Online registration is open 30 days before each seminar. Otherwise, contact the Nonprofit Office after August 17, 2009.
