
ILAD 5000 is a 1-hour course that meets weekly. The course presents information that relates to job search issues and career and life planning. The course is designed to assist students in making the transition from the academic community to the work environment. At the conclusion of the class, students should be better able to make decisions relating to their future career directions and successfully execute a self-directed job search.
Course Objectives or Expected Learning Outcomes:
The objective of this course is to aid students develop better understandings of the organizational environments in which they will soon work, along with the knowledge to make good decisions regarding their careers. Students also develop materials and skills for more effectively marketing themselves to employers.
