Outside the classroom, the LLSP sponsors a wide range of exciting and enlightening activities that reinforce and enhance the curriculum lessons.

Retreat
A required element of the program, the off-site weekend retreat focuses on refining personal mission and values and building deeper relationships with classmates.

LLSP Speaker Series
Students are exposed to high-level executives through the LLSP speaker series. In this student-oriented forum, the executives share from their career experiences and discuss their leadership challenges.

Corporate Site Visits
Each semester, the program arranges a site visit to a large corporate headquarters, where the students hear from the company's executives about the firm's leadership structure and corporate culture. Each visit typically includes a tour and interaction with members of the executive team.

Externships
The program arranges a day-long job shadowing experience with a business executive in a student's field of interest. Externships can provide valuable perspective on prospective career paths.

Mentoring
Leonard Scholars are assigned a mentor for the first year of the program. Mentors serve as resources for academic and career advice.
