ILA Director Attends "University without Borders: Connecting Universities with Civic Purpose" in Tunisia

Institute for Leadership Advancement, Dale Gauthreaux, was one of five UGA faculty members to take part in a UGA-Tunisia educational partnership workshop held in Tunisia. The UGA delegation worked with 120 faculty members from the Universities of Sousse, Sfax and Jendouba. During the three-day workshop the delegation demonstrated how universities can play a vital role in community development and how service learning is a crucial tool. The concepts were well received and the Tunisian universities are likely to engage in service learning community development in the future.
