Terry College Honors ILA Students

The Terry College of Business honored several Institute for Leadership Advancement (ILA) students for their academic achievements at the college's annual Honors Day on April 13.

Students honored from the Leonard Leadership Scholars Program included: Kimberly Shriver (Accounting and Delta Sigma Pi), Patrick Fitzmaurice (Economics), Hunter Hodge (Finance), Anne Karam (Finance), Katherine O'Shea (International Business and Honors Senior of the Year), Mathieu Van Asten (International Business and Management Information Systems), Emily Weinstein (Management Information Systems), Jessica Craven (Marketing), Brianna Randall (Marketing and Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges), Caroline Burlingame (Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges), Victoria Adams (Bank of America Scholarship). Beta Gamma Sigma inductees included: Caroline Cave, Christopher Dammeyer, Courtney Johnson, Brianna Randall and Brittany Scrudder.

Students honored from the Certificate in Personal and Organizational Leadership Program included: Michael Sapinski (Risk Management, Delta Sigma Pi and Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges), Georgia Evert (Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges) and Taylor Seeloff (Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges). Beta Gamma Sigma inductees included: Emily Collins, Joseph Gaines, Katherine Quirk, Matthew Szambelan and Thomas Wamsley.

Established in 2001, the Institute for Leadership Advancement in the Terry College of Business seeks to develop a new class of business and community leaders. Its programs stress the importance of principled leadership based on core values and emphasize leadership as a collaborative process and not as a position. The Institute's ultimate aim is to create a new class of leaders who are well trained and ready for responsibility, committed to stewardship and pursuers of excellence, characterized by integrity and defined by purpose.
