Research Papers

The Leadership Research Consortium (LRC) seeks to stimulate innovative research projects through grants to faculty with expertise in the leadership area. These awards provide funding for consulting/applied research projects addressing topics of interest identified by our Corporate Partners. Each year the LRC awards these grants to faculty from the Terry College of Business by determining the theoretical innovation and methodological rigor of the proposal, the applied nature of research and relationship to leadership, whether the project is broadly defined, the feasibility of the project, and the track record of the faculty member in bringing research projects to closure and to publication.

The following are the LRC Research Reports from the 2004 faculty grants:

Dr. Allen Amason Determining the Salaries of New CEOs: A New Look at an Old and Ongoing Dilemma

Allen C. Amason, Associate Professor of Management
Dr. Melenie Lankau Examining the Impact of Dissimilarity in Organizational Values between Members of Top Management Teams and CEOs
