Community Connections
This section will feature regular information on the many community service activities of the ILA. The Institute for Leadership Advancement seeks to create a strong community service and outreach component with its program and students. We have recently updated our website to highlight this as a major component of the Institute. You can visit here to see our general and program specific activities.

This month will highlight the in-class activities of our leadership students. Service learning projects are often a large part of ILA courses. The professor challenges groups of 5-6 students to create and implement a meaningful semester-long community service activity. Over the years, projects have been very creative and made a significant impact in the Athens community. Click on the sites below to see these innovative and meaningful projects. A more in-depth look at a project conducted by L.E.A.D. Students for a family in New York will be forthcoming. It will show the vast scope of the project and let you know the impact it has had since implementation.
