Scott G. Sink
Senior Executive Vice President
McGriff, Seibels & Williams, Inc.
Scott G. Sink currently serves as Senior Executive Vice President of McGriff, Seibels & Williams, Inc. (McGriff), an insurance brokerage firm headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.
Sink specializes in providing risk management consulting and insurance brokerage services to large electric, gas and integrated energy companies. Since joining McGriff in 1994, he has been instrumental in developing one of the largest energy/utility practice groups in the United States. In his current role as Senior Executive Vice President, he serves as the practice leader for the energy/utility group in Birmingham.
Sink is a member of the ACE Bermuda Advisory Board and the Oil Casualty Insurance Ltd Advisory Board.
Professional Experience
Sink began his career in 1984 as an Insurance Coordinator for Virginia Power in Richmond, Virginia.
From 1987 to 1994, Sink served in several capacities for Alexander & Alexander in their Baltimore, Maryland and Washington D.C. offices.
Education
Sink earned a BBA degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia in 1984. In his senior year, he was recognized by the faculty as an Outstanding Student in Risk Management and Insurance.
Sink also holds the Associate in Risk Management designation from the Insurance Institute of America.
Personal
Sink has been an active board member of the Birmingham Chapter of the American Cancer Society since 2008.
Sink and his wife, Linda, have two children, Brittany (20) and Taylor (17). When not working, he enjoys golf, travel and UGA football.
