The University of Georgia has several options available campus-wide; there is a program to suit every student's needs. The Office of International Education (OIE) sponsors a vast array of programs to all students at the University. Students can be immersed into another culture while often taking classes toward graduation, participating in internships, or even working at a job.
OIE, located in 201 Barrow Hall, provides study abroad counselors to assist in making sure students find the right fit when they go abroad. The IB academic advisors can also assist in making sure courses for these programs will work toward the IB degree.
Every fall, OIE hosts a "Work, Study and Travel Abroad Fair" at the Tate Student Center. This fair is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about their overseas options and speak with representatives from organizations and institutions of higher education that have programs abroad.
