Undergraduate Study Abroad
Business in China
During this study abroad program, students will study select aspects of doing business in China. Participants will engage with local students at Neusoft Institute of Information in Dalian, through a shared seminar led by our faculty. The UGA group will then travel on to Beijing. They will experience the unique cultures and enterprises of this part of the world through city tours, company visits, factory tours, cultural activities, and some free time. Orientation sessions for this program will be held during the Spring semester preceeding the program.

Course Credit
- ECON 4040 — The International Business Environment (3 credits)
Prerequisites: ECON 2105 & 2106 - INTB 5100 — Special Topics in International Business (3 credits)
Program Fee
$3500 program fee includes lodging (dormitory in Dalian; hotel in Beijing), several group meals (hotel stay includes breakfast), ground transportation, bi-lingual tour guides, company visits, cultural activities, air transfer between cities, study abroad insurance, and pre-trip orientation activities.
The program fee does NOT include international airfare, UGA tuition and fees, and miscellaneous student travel expenses (most meals, optional activities, laundry, souvenirs, etc.)
