Undergraduate Co-Major in International Business

Beginning Fall 2010, the undergraduate international business major will be an optional co-major for any functional area major within the Terry College. This co-major option will allow students to gain an in-depth understanding of the international business arena and the means of competing in a multi-cultural, global environment. When carefully planned, students can complete the co-major within the current 121 hours required for graduation. For further information, see the undergraduate major section of our web site.

Undergraduate Study Abroad Programs

For decades, Terry College has sent undergraduates abroad with faculty or to partner institutions to study comparative business practices, to learn about how multinational firms operate, and to develop an appreciation for diverse cultures. Students learn how to think globally, approach business problems in a global marketplace, and to operate more effectively in it. Terry undergraduates have a wide range of programs to choose from, with different locations, lengths of stay, course offerings, etc. Whether seeking elective credit or to satisfy a degree requirement, there are programs that fit almost every interest. For further information, see undergraduate study abroad and exchange programs.

Graduate Study Abroad Programs

Through graduate level international programs at Terry, masters students can develop in-depth functional expertise in their areas of specialization, see the business operations of overseas firms first hand, gain exposure to major emerging and established markets, and earn credits toward their degrees. These programs complement in-class instruction and strengthen students' preparation to become leaders in the world economy. There is a wide range of international locations to choose from, with price tags for almost every budget. For further information, see graduate study abroad and exchange programs.
