Stephen W. Goodroe (Steve)
While living in Hong Kong, Steve served as Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce (HK), and was an officer and director of the American Club. He returned to P&G's world headquarters in Cincinnati in 1998 as Vice President-Global Customer Marketing. Steve retired from P&G at the end of 2001. Steve then led the successful startup of dunnhumby USA, a marketing services company that is a joint venture between The Kroger Company and dunnhumby Ltd. (London), serving as the founding CEO. Steve currently serves as an advisor to two startup companies, and is on the board of SoftCoin, a marketing services company based in Silicon Valley. He consults on a part-time basis with a management consulting firm. Steve is currently serving a second term on the Alumni Advisory Board of Terry College, and previously served on the advisory board of the Masters of Marketing Research (MMR) program. He taught a marketing strategy course in the Executive MBA program in 2002. Steve is actively involved with the Terry College marketing department and is a frequent guest lecturer. Steve is a native of Georgia, born in Thomaston and raised in Griffin. He and his wife Linda have two children, Kate and John, both of whom are in college. Steve and Linda split their time between Atlanta and Kiawah Island, SC. |
