The Terry College and NACD have assembled a world-class faculty that represents both academics and business, bringing particular expertise in law, accounting, finance, strategy, insurance, and public policy. The faculty includes leaders such as: Dennis Beresford, chaired Professor or Accounting at the Terry College of Business who served as Chairman of FASB for 10 years and currently serves on the boards of Worldcom, National Service Industries, Legg Mason, and Kimberly-Clark Corporation; and Rick Miller, Senior Partner with Powell Goldstein Frazer and Murphy, LLP specializing in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance as well as advising boards and committees on significant transaction and control issues.
