Financial Planning Certification - Traditional Class
Program Overview
Information Sessions
All sessions are from 7:00-8:00 pm on the first floor of the Terry Executive Education Center in Atlanta.
Program Structure: The program consists of five academic courses and a capstone/case study course that meets one night a week, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Students can expect to complete the program in 13 months. Please refer to our website for more current schedule of classes.
Admission Criteria: Participants in the program must have a four-year college degree. Work experience in the financial services field is a plus. Any requests for exemption to the admissions requirements must be made to the program director.

Location: Terry Executive Education Center
Certificate: Upon completion of all required courses, participants will receive a certificate of completion from The University of Georgia's Terry College of Business. This program is registered with the Certified Financial Planners Board of Standards, Inc., and students who successfully complete the certification program will be eligible to apply for the CFP® Certification Examination.
Program Faculty: All faculty members are qualified, credentialed professionals working in the financial services industry, and are adjunct faculty of the Terry College of Business. The faculty presents the material in a manner that allows students to utilize their time efficiently and effectively outside of classroom.
