Certified Financial Planner - Traditional Class
The Executive Program for Financial Planning Certification offered by the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business is a registered program of the Certified Financial Planners Board of Standards Inc. Upon successful completion of this certificate program, students are eligible to apply for the CFP® Certification Examination.
Accelerated Curriculum
Appropriately paced for working professionals, the Executive Program for Financial Planning Certification is structured around a 13-month curriculum, as opposed to the 18-month schedule of conventional programs. Terry's accelerated schedule enables eligible students to take the CFP® Certification Exam up to two test periods earlier than 18-month certificate programs.
Buckhead Location
Certificate program classes are taught at the Terry College's new Executive Education Center in the Buckhead business district, a hub of financial services in Atlanta. The center features tiered executive classrooms, break-out meeting space and first-class amenities.
Terry College Credential
Through this certificate program, you can affiliate with the network of 50,000 alumni of the nationally ranked Terry College of Business.
Information Sessions
All sessions are from 7:00-8:00 pm on the first floor of the Terry Executive Education Center in Atlanta.
The Terry College of Business does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, Certified Financial Planner™ and CFP (with flame logo) marks. CFP Certification is granted solely by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. to individuals who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met ethics, experience, and examination reqirements.
