Hot Topics

The 16 one-day workshops offered by the Terry College of Business Executive Education Center cover the hottest topics being discussed in today's corporations and executive boardrooms. The program series addresses the business acumen* skills that all professionals need to advance their careers. The workshops fall into four categories including the Leadership Series (Leadership Essentials, Teamwork Essentials, Leadership Lessons Gettysburg, Leading Change); Business Process Improvement Series (Business Analysis, Project Management, Lean Six Sigma); Resource Management Series (Accounting Essentials, Finance Essentials, Critical Thinking, Strategy, Innovation, Cognitive Agility); and the Business Development Series (Sales Essentials, Marketing Essentials, Customer Service, Building Client Relationships). All of the workshops are taught by award-winning Terry professors or seasoned executives from private industry.

The Terry Executive Education Center, located at 3475 Lenox Road in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, offers comfortable, executive-style classrooms with all of the latest teaching and learning technologies. The Terry staff has extensive experience in delivering executive education programs and will provide all participants with a high-quality, first-class learning experience.

Cool Certificates

The workshops are designed for busy working professionals so please feel free to sign up for just one workshop at a time. However, if you successfully complete six workshops (any topics, you pick) within a one-year period you will receive a UGA Terry Certificate in Business Management. If you complete ten workshops, including all four in the leadership series, you will receive a UGA Terry Advanced Certificate in Business Leadership.
