Details

This five-day engagement brings together supervisors and mid-level managers across service and manufacturing industries who strive for flawless execution, want to improve their processes, and drive efficiencies in their companies.

The course is led by Mary McShane-Vaughn, PhD, who currently serves as the ASQ Black Belt Exam Chair. McShane-Vaughn brings 15 years of experience as a Quality Engineer and Statistician in the automotive, airline, medical device, and revenue-management fields. She is an ASQ certified Black Belt, Quality Engineering, and Reliability Engineer, and she has taught Six Sigma to hundreds of graduate students and business leaders.

Participants earn both a Yellow Belt and Green Belt during the program. Students also will learn the latest Lean Six Sigma tools, including visual management, Eight Wastes, 5S methodology, mistake proofing, and SMED.

On day five, participants will sit for their Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification exam. A Green Belt certification uniquely sets professionals apart from their colleagues as being uniquely equipped with the right combination of analytical problem solving, critical thinking, and process-improvement skills.  Discounts are available for early registrants and alumni.  Visit http://executive.terry.uga.edu/lean-six-sigma-green-belt-certification to learn more.
