Will Harris runs White Oak Pastures, the Georgia farm his family has operated since 1866 (five generations). Under his leadership, the farm has returned to an environmentally sustainable and high animal welfare farming system.
After receiving an animal science degree from UGA, Harris returned home and began to implement a number of sustainable farming practices. Today his cattle, sheep, hogs, goats and poultry are rotated through White Oak Pastures in the Serengeti Plains rotational grazing model. The farm now utilizes solar panels and its beef, goat and lamb are grass-fed. White Oaks also holds the distinction of being the only farm in the U.S. to have both a red meat plant and poultry processing that have been approved by the USDA.

Trucking Profitability Strategies brings senior trucking professionals together to discuss best practices and emerging trends that can immediately improve performance and profitability and prepare participants for future opportunities and challenges. This 30-year old program continues to feature leaders in trucking as presenters and panelists. Attendance is restricted to asset based trucking companies to maximize the learning and networking experience. Unlike other programs, no suppliers or vendors attend this conference.

Participants earn both a Yellow Belt and Green Belt during the program, which includes an interactive exercise around a hospitality industry case study. The class will analyze the company's approach to Lean Six Sigma across a broad spectrum of functions, including customer service and logistics. Students also will learn the latest Lean Six Sigma tools, including visual management, Eight Wastes, 5S methodology, mistake proofing, and SMED. On day five, participants will sit for their Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification exam.
