    Terry Leadership Connection mentees are encouraged to join their mentors for lunch on Wednesday, March 4, during one of two sessions in 314 Sanford Hall.

    Sessions begin at 12:20 PM and 1:25 PM, and we will view a Ted Talk video followed by a discussion lead by mentors. Lunch from Einstein Bros Bagels will provided for registered guests.

    Terry Talks with Mark Travis (AB Econ, ‘84), CEO of Intrepid Capital Management, Inc.

    Join us for a roundtable discussion with Mark Travis, president and CEO of Intrepid Capital Management, Inc. based in Jacksonville, FL. Mark is a co-founder of Intrepid Capital and oversees the investment process at Intrepid Capital Management. He is also the lead portfolio manager of the Intrepid Capital Fund, the separately managed Intrepid Balanced portfolio and the Intrepid Capital, L.P. Mr. Travis is also a member of the investment teams responsible for the Intrepid Small Cap Fund, Intrepid Disciplined Value Fund, Intrepid Income Fund and the Intrepid Small Cap, Intrepid Disciplined Value and Intrepid Income portfolios. He has 30 years of experience in asset management. Mark received his BA degree in Economics from the University of Georgia in 1984 and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Ponte Vedra Rotary Club.     Terry Talks Behind the Seams with Karen Stein (BBA 2013), Spanx

    Join us for a roundtable discussion with Karen Stein of Spanx. Karen graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2013 with a BBA in Marketing & International Business and a minor in Spanish. In June of 2013, she began her role as Brand Marketing Coordinator at Spanx, the leading shapewear brand founded by entrepreneur Sara Blakely. She informs new product development through consumer and market insights, develops new product strategy, creates seasonal marketing campaigns, product names and taglines, and writes customer facing materials for e-commerce, retail and wholesale channels. Matt has been in the insurance business since 2003, specializing in the property and casualty area. Prior to joining Ironwood, he was with Palmer & Cay and McGriff Seibels and Williams, where he brokered and serviced middle market to large risk management accounts with complex insurance needs. Matt's experience includes designing, negotiating and servicing insurance programs in various locations throughout the United States and internationally. He has extensive experience servicing the real estate, media/communications, manufacturing, restaurant/hospitality and staffing industries. Matt belongs to a number of business and industry associations, including AYREP, ARDA and NAIOP.
