Join us for a roundtable discussion with Karen Stein of Spanx. Karen graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2013 with a BBA in Marketing & International Business and a minor in Spanish. In June of 2013, she began her role as Brand Marketing Coordinator at Spanx, the leading shapewear brand founded by entrepreneur Sara Blakely. She informs new product development through consumer and market insights, develops new product strategy, creates seasonal marketing campaigns, product names and taglines, and writes customer facing materials for e-commerce, retail and wholesale channels. Outside of work, Karen serves on the Spanx Philanthropy board, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta FJC, and is also a volunteer advocate for the Alzheimer’s Association of Georgia.

Come meet alum Matt Hene on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. A 2003 graduate of the Terry College of Business, Matt holds a degree in Risk Management and Insurance. Matt has been in the insurance business since 2003, specializing in the property and casualty area. Prior to joining Ironwood, he was with Palmer & Cay and McGriff Seibels and Williams, where he brokered and serviced middle market to large risk management accounts with complex insurance needs. Matt's experience includes designing, negotiating and servicing insurance programs in various locations throughout the United States and internationally. He has extensive experience servicing the real estate, media/communications, manufacturing, restaurant/hospitality and staffing industries. Matt belongs to a number of business and industry associations, including AYREP, ARDA and NAIOP. Students can sign up for 30 minute appointments to meet with Matt, ask him career advice, questions about the insurance industry, etc. Don't miss out on a great opportunity to hear from a devoted Terry alum who enjoys helping students.
